Can you dye Kankelon jumbo braids with RIT dye?

I bought a few kankelon jumbo braids with the intention of making them into dreadlocks. My hair is dyed deep burgundy and dark blue, can i use RIT dye to make sure they match my real hair? or any other kind of dye you know might work
