Parking for Glastonbury Carnival?

We've never been to a Somerset carnival, and plan to go to Glastonbury Carnival on Saturday. Where should we park is my main question - plus suggestions of where to watch, where to eat/buy food? and any other tips and suggestions to help the evening go smoothly for 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 2 children!
