If she can't understand your feelings, you will have to learn to make new house rules. 1) CALL FIRST before dropping by to get approval and 2) Do NOT, under ANY cirstances, let anyone in the house without following rule #1. I did this to my MOM and while she was upset at first, she realized I was right to make my own rules - and she never did it again! Your #1 job is to protect your baby, but I do wonder - would you be so upset if YOUR mother had a cold and gave it to your newborn?
