Why dont women approach guys?

When me and my friends go out to bars, clubs..were always picking up girls and it has become natural to myself and them too. But one nite the topic came up bout why dont women try n pick up on guys. We all admitted that we rarely are approach by women (were all prettty good lookin so thats not the prob) wen i approach women im not afraid of rejection or anythin like that, but maybe women are? or that they feel desperate hittin on a guy? idk so ladies can you help me out wit this one? thanks
