Need help with guitar amp?

How should i set my settings? I need a good metalcore sound, preferably like avenged sevenfold or bullet for my valentine, maybe even atreyu, something heavy yet melodic? the knobs on my johnson 88w amp are as followed: Treble(-10 to 10), Hi-Mid Level(-10 to 10), Hi-Mid Freq(1KHz to 6KHz), Lo-Mid Level(-10 to 10), Lo-Mid Freq(250Hz to 800Hz), B(-10 to 10). Also if it helps i have a Line6 Uber Metal pedal with: Level, B, Treble, Drive, Mids, Scoop. And if it helps my guitar is a peavey mystic. any help would be appreciated
