Is Dabke considered a dance in Islam?

I was at a mixed wedding the other day and the guys started doing dabke and then some girls that dont wear hijab got up and did it. Some hijabis did it too but...i wasnt sure if it was considered a dance or not. Because I know dancing in front of guys is haram. I know u guys rnt sheikhs but just tell me if you think Dabke is a dance or not. :D
