I have some questions about a job at...?
It won't help you to look older because it's not legal to hire someone too young. It REALLY depends on where you work. A coffee shop in Canada, Tim Horton's, was hiring my friends at 13! (really not a good job, or idea lol). I started looking when I was 14 at a grocery store but you had to be 15. When I got my current job in retail, my interview was like 4 days before my 16th birthday and my manager was really not into hiring me at 15. Usually you have to be 16 min with the exception being 15. Fast food places are usually 15,16 too, so right now I don't know how much is out there for you. Jobs like babysitting, pet sitting, dog walking, tutoring are all always available though. Gaining experience through a simple job like that will look good on your resume/ reference list when applying for a 'real' job later.
