Did Stephenie Meyer copy some ideas from The Vampire Diaries for her Twilight Saga? ?

She may or may not have. I mean she did say it was a dream but Vampire Diaries did come out a while before twilight. And also, to dream about it would mean that you would've had to read or seen something that would cause you to think about it too often and..well make you dream it lol!~
